One person has been arrested following the investigation of a fire at 2853 Woods Cove Road in Scottsboro on June 27th. The fire was reported to the fire department at 2:37 AM. No injuries were reported following the fire although one adult was in the home when the fire was set.
Leslee Wayne Burns of 27069 Alabama Highway 35 Woodville, AL was charged with one count of Conspiracy to Commit Arson First Degree.
Investigators with the Scottsboro Fire and Police Departments and the Alabama State Fire Marshals Office say additional charges against Burns are possible and that additional arrests are expected in the case.
