Additional charges of Burglary Third Degree and Theft Second Degree will be filed today against the two suspects in Chilton County already facing nineteen criminal charges each for numerous burglaries, thefts and arsons.
Investigators with the Clanton Police Department will charge Matthew Allen Mims and Kenneth Cory Presley for the burglary and theft of property at Lomax Independent Church on July 6th. This will bring the total number of charges against each suspect to twenty-one.
The Chilton County Sheriff’s Office, Clanton Police Department and Alabama State Fire Marshals Office continue their investigation of the numerous crimes committed by Mims and Presley.
