A St. Clair County man died Saturday when the gasoline he used to start a brush pile fire ignited quickly and burned him.
Henry Bean, 83, of Wattsville, was attempting to burn leaves at his home just outside of Pell City. He died at the scene. The Wattsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call.
