A Fayette County man died early Sunday morning when a fire broke out in a mobile home in which he resided.
Ronald Preston Ledbetter, 49, died in the fire.
The fire began in the kitchen area and spread from there. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Department, the Fayette County Coroner, the Mt. Vernon Volunteer Fire Department and the Alabama State Fire Marshals Office are investigating the fire.
