Five businesses were destroyed and three severely smoke damaged in Orange Beach early Wednesday morning when a fire raged through a strip mall, State Fire Marshal Richard Montgomery said.
"The cause is undetermined at this point," Montgomery said, "but it does not appear to be intentional."
The fire broke out in a video store. The estimated loss was $20 million.
